Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year performing functions listed in the job description below. Complete all assignments and tasks as directed by managers or leads.
High school diploma or GED is required. Mathematics skills are desirable
Must speak, read, write, and understand English with the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions in the same language.
Performs housekeeping duties within 100 feet of assigned work areas (excluding bathrooms). Performs vehicle use inspections, cleaning, and wash.
Performs any other supportive duties as assigned.
Must be physically capable of performing all assigned duties.
Must be able to, if required, obtain, and maintain a government driver's license. If controlled movement area (CMA) access is required must be able to pass color vision test.
Environment ranges from office, hangar and flightline and requires extensive climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (or higher, if required).
Must be able to, if required, obtain, and maintain a government driver's license. If controlled movement area (CMA) access is required must be able to pass color vision test.
Job Description:
Clean building floors by sweeping mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Gather and empty trash.
Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
May be required to steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors. Drive vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work, including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners.
Follow procedures for the use and disposal of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
May be required to remove trash from grounds.
Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
May be required to perform other cleaning assignments as applicable.
