Role Description The Business Development Consultant is a Commission-only role based in the New Orleans Metropolitan Area. This role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities with large commercial clients, particularly within the Oil & Gas industry. The Consultant will develop business to support Turnarounds, Shut-Downs and special projects in Oil & Gas industry. The Consultant's role will include prospecting and lead generation, conducting client meetings, assessing client needs, and recommending tailored staffing solutions. The consultant will prepare proposals, support business planning efforts, collaborate with internal leaders to align offerings with market demand, and track performance metrics for business development initiatives. The role requires consistent on-site engagement with clients and partners to build strong, long-term relationships that support QSS’s growth and mission.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation to identify, qualify, and pursue growth opportunities.
- Candidates should possess Consulting and Business Planning skills to assess client needs, design solutions, and support strategic planning.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact effectively with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in facilities management, staffing solutions, or related service industries is beneficial.
- Proven track record working with large commercial clients is preferred.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and negotiation abilities are advantageous.
- Travel locally to client locations as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
