Housekeeping Staff
Job Summary: Our hotel is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented housekeeping staff member to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and tidy environment for our guests. They will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the hotel's cleanliness standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean guest rooms and suites according to the hotel's cleanliness standards
- Change linens, make beds, and clean bathrooms
- Replenish guest room supplies such as towels, soap, and toilet paper
- Dust, vacuum, and clean common areas of the hotel including the lobby, hallways, and stairways
- Organize and maintain housekeeping closets and carts on a daily basis
- Report any maintenance issues or room damage to management
- Respond to guest requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored
Qualifications:
- Prior housekeeping experience in a hotel environment is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently and independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
