What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Worker position at Quality Stone Veneer?
Quality Stone Veneer, Inc. currently has an open position for a Production Worker at our Tower City Plant location. This is a full time position, Monday thru Friday from 7am to 3:30pm.
Position Summary:
Works in all assigned phases of the manufacturing plant to produce a high quality product in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Tasks included are demolding, painting, filling, stacking and mud making. Training on all functions will be provided.
Required skills:
High school diploma or equivalent desired but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with other team members to maintain efficient production operations a must. Basic verbal and written communication skills required. Prior experience operating a forklift helpful, but we will certifify. Must be 18 years to operate equipment. Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
Physical Capabilities:
Must be able to repeatedly lift /- 50 lbs. Must be able to bend/twist at waist, kneel, squat, reach above shoulders, perform repetitive hand/wrist movements including squeezing and grasping, and frequent pushing/pulling motions. Must be able to tolerate long periods of standing and walking. Must be able to tolerate working in a dusty environment subject to seasonal temperature and weather changes. Must be willing to work on varying shifts, extended hours and weekends if required and work as a team.
