Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Quarry Operator to join our team. This role involves operating heavy machinery and supporting various construction and mining activities at our quarry site. The ideal candidate will have experience with construction equipment, mechanical systems, and safety protocols, ensuring efficient and safe operations in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, water trucks, forklifts, and Caterpillar machinery to extract and process quarry materials
- Manage pipeline systems for material transport and processing
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Execute horizontal drilling operations as required for site development
- Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe work environment
- Support construction site activities including material movement, site preparation, and equipment setup
- Assist with the operation of tanker trucks for fuel or water delivery on-site or off-site as needed
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate daily tasks and ensure project deadlines are met
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and safety inspections
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, forklifts, water trucks, and pipeline systems in a construction or mining setting
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques and pipeline installation processes
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety procedures on construction sites
- Prior experience working with Caterpillar equipment or similar brands is preferred
- Construction site experience, especially within the oil & gas or commercial construction industries, is highly desirable
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with tanker endorsement is a plus
- Experience working with water trucks, tankers, or in environments involving pipeline installation is advantageous

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
