CNC Machine Operator
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 2:45 PM
40 hours/week with overtime opportunities
Pay: Starting at $22.00/hour, based on experience
We are seeking a motivated CNC Machine Operator eager to learn and grow with our client company. This role is responsible for producing precision machined parts using CNC lathes and mills, while adhering to quality and safety standards, maintaining equipment, and keeping accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
· Set up and operate CNC lathes and vertical milling machines according to supervisor instructions.
· Load and unload parts efficiently and safely.
· Verify machine settings by measuring first-run parts and sample workpieces, ensuring adherence to good manufacturing practices.
· Measure finished parts using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
· Maintain continuity between work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs.
· Perform additional tasks as required to support operations.
Qualifications:
· 2 years of experience or education with CNC mills and lathes.
· Proficiency in basic math calculations.
· Ability to use grinders and hand stamps.
· Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
