Janitorial Manager/Supervisor (Full-Time)
Pay Rate & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $29.97 per hour
- Schedule: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, including holidays, and possibly including some weekends
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Shift Time: 2:00pm-10:30pm
- Expected Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
Position Summary
The Full-Time Janitorial Manager/Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily janitorial operations, ensuring all cleaning services are completed according to company standards, safety regulations, and client expectations. This position supervises janitorial staff, conducts inspections, manages supplies, and maintains a clean, safe, and professional environment within assigned facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct janitorial employees during assigned shifts
- Train new employees on cleaning procedures, safety standards, and company policies
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning quality and compliance with standards
- Schedule and assign daily work duties to janitorial staff
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and on time
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and building concerns to management
- Enforce company policies, attendance requirements, and workplace safety procedures
- Address employee performance concerns and provide coaching or corrective action when necessary
- Assist with general cleaning duties when necessary
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience required
- Prior supervisory or management experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
Work Environment
This position is based in a fast-paced environment with continuous public activity. Duties may be performed throughout offices, restrooms, security areas, concourses, employee spaces, and other facilities. Employees may be required to work around customers, security personnel, staff, and contractors while always maintaining professional conduct and safety standards. The work environment may include exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, noise, varying temperatures, and high-traffic public areas. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and varying shifts may be required to support airport operations.
