Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Worker to maintain cleanliness and uphold safety standards across our facility. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of production areas, equipment, and workspaces to meet health and safety standards
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and disinfecting floors, surfaces, and machinery
- Assist with waste removal and proper disposal of trash and recyclables
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
- Support food processing or manufacturing operations by ensuring a sanitized environment
- Participate in routine sanitation inspections and report any issues or hazards promptly
- Heavy lifting of supplies or equipment as needed to facilitate cleaning tasks
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially within food production, manufacturing, or warehouse settings
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and sanitation standards
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety compliance
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in food processing or related industries is advantageous but not required
- Reliable with good time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently

Pay: From $17.25 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
