We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Electrician Service Technician who is confident diagnosing electrical problems, completing repairs and upgrades, and communicating directly with customers. This role is ideal for an electrician who enjoys service work, troubleshooting, and taking ownership of each job from diagnosis through completion.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Electrician Service Technician, you will handle residential and light commercial electrical service calls, repairs, replacements, and system upgrades throughout our service area.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial electrical problems
• Perform electrical service calls and provide clear repair recommendations
• Install and replace electrical panels, breakers, circuits, switches, receptacles, lighting, and related components
• Complete service upgrades and electrical improvements for existing homes and buildings
• Troubleshoot wiring, power loss, overloaded circuits, grounding issues, and other electrical concerns
• Perform electrical work related to remodels, additions, renovations, and equipment installations
• Install and service standby generators and transfer switches when needed
• Read wiring diagrams, blueprints, electrical schematics, and job specifications
• Complete work in accordance with NEC requirements, local codes, and company standards
• Communicate repair options and job findings clearly with homeowners and customers
• Assist less-experienced electricians and apprentices with technical questions when needed
• Maintain accurate service records, job notes, and material documentation
• Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and organized
• Follow OSHA requirements and established company safety procedures
• Participate in technical training and continuing education
• Deliver professional, courteous customer service on every call

Compensation

$25.00 - $38.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 3 years of residential and light commercial electrical experience
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls from start to finish
• Strong customer communication and service skills
• Experience with electrical panels, service upgrades, circuits, lighting, and residential repairs
• Ability to explain electrical issues and recommended solutions clearly to customers
• Strong knowledge of safe electrical work practices
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
• ServiceTitan experience preferred
• Experience mentoring apprentices or junior technicians is a plus
