Founder Chris McDonald established the company after nearly a decade in the HVAC industry. We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrician to oversee residential and light commercial electrical projects while providing leadership and technical support to apprentices and electricians. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading by example, mentoring others, and delivering high-quality workmanship.
Primary Job Function
As the Lead Electrician, you will be responsible for managing electrical installations, repairs, and service calls while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead residential and light commercial electrical installations, repairs, and troubleshooting
- Diagnose electrical issues and develop effective repair solutions
- Install, repair, and replace electrical panels, service upgrades, circuits, lighting, switches, receptacles, and related electrical systems
- Perform electrical service work for remodels, renovations, additions, and new construction projects
- Install and service standby generators and transfer switches when applicable
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and specifications
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and company quality standards
- Supervise, train, and mentor apprentices and junior electricians
- Plan daily job assignments, monitor productivity, and maintain project schedules
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, inspectors, and office staff
- Maintain accurate job documentation, material usage, and service reports
- Ensure company vehicles, tools, and equipment are properly maintained
- Follow OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies at all times
- Participate in ongoing technical training and licensing requirements
- Represent the company professionally through excellent customer service and workmanship
- Perform other duties as assigned
Compensation
$28.00 - $38.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Minimum of 5 years of residential and light commercial electrical experience
- Previous leadership, foreman, or crew lead experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to organize projects and lead multiple job assignments
- Ability to train and mentor apprentice electricians
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently while managing a crew when needed
- Dependable, organized, and results-driven
