Quality Restaurant Services and Quality Fire Protection Services has been in business since 1991. We have over 30 years of experience in commercial kitchen exhaust system cleaning and over 15 years experience in fire suppression systems, emergency lighting, and extinguishers.
IMMEDIATE OPENING - NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY:
-The Exhaust Cleaning Technician works as part of the team that provides exhaust cleaning for systems that gather grease in the ductwork and exhaust systems in businesses such as schools, restaurants, hotels, medical facilities and other establishments with commercial kitchens.
OPPORTUNITY TO ADVANCE WITHIN THE COMPANY:
-The Crew Leader manages a crew of technicians, fills out job checklists on site, confirms jobs, and communicates with his crew what time they need to leave for a scheduled job; so time management skills are necessary.
-The Operations Manager oversees either night shift crews or day shift crews. They assist in making leadership decisions within the company, help train crew leaders, as well as step in on a crew when necessary.
Exhaust Cleaning Technician Job Description:
- Power wash kitchen exhaust systems using hot water pressure machines; including hoods, ducts, filters and exhaust fans.
- Set-up and tear down all equipment at the job site; including hanging plastic sheeting, securing ladders and wiping down stainless steel exposures.
- Operate cleaning equipment; such as wet/dry vacuums, high pressure hoses, and pre-sprayers.
- Maintain and immediately report any deficiencies of equipment.
- Clean commercial kitchen equipment at the site, as well as install items such as hinges, grease boxes, drip trays etc.
- Maintain proper documentation for all work performed. Ex: complete checklists on site as well as take pictures for documentation for ourselves as well as our customers.
Qualifications
- A current and valid driver’s license
- Work efficiently as part of a team to assure the work can be completed during a specified window of time
- Portray excellent customer service by thorough communication with the customers
- Be able to represent the company in a professional manner on the job, as well as on the way to job sites in company vehicles
- Great time management skills
Other details
- Work schedule is Sunday through Thursday
- Night-time availability may be required depending on position
