Job Summary

Quality Response Medical Staffing, LLC (QRMS) is seeking 11 qualified and dependable Phlebotomists for an anticipated long-term federal healthcare contract in Memphis, Tennessee.

Selected candidates will support laboratory operations in a professional healthcare environment, providing accurate and timely blood collection and specimen handling services.

This opportunity offers the potential for long-term employment, with an anticipated contract period extending through March 31, 2032, subject to contract award and annual renewals.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures.
• Properly identify patients and accurately label specimens.
• Prepare, handle, and transport laboratory specimens according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient and specimen documentation.
• Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality requirements.
• Provide professional and compassionate patient care.
• Work collaboratively with laboratory staff and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited or recognized phlebotomy training program preferred.
• Previous phlebotomy experience in a hospital, clinic, or laboratory setting preferred.
• Current phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Knowledge of specimen collection, handling, and infection control procedures.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet applicable federal facility credentialing and background screening requirements.

Schedule and Compensation

• Full-time contract assignment.
• Anticipated start date: April 1, 2027.
• Schedules may include rotating weekends and federal holidays.
• Overtime opportunities may be available based on facility requirements.
