Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist estimators in reviewing plans, specifications, and addenda for bidding
- Perform material and fixture takeoffs using estimating software
- Help build bid packages and maintain organized bid folders
- Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to gather pricing
- Maintain internal bid logs and timelines
- Coordinate with project managers and purchasing when transitioning awarded bids
- Support in bid follow-up, post-bid reviews, and value engineering exercises
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of estimating or construction experience (plumbing experience a plus)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read construction blueprints (or willing to learn quickly)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PDF markup tools (Bluebeam or PlanSwift a plus)
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Dependable, honest, and eager to learn
- Must be a trusted and responsible team player with a strong work ethic
