We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices.
Key Responsibilities:
· Process and post customer payments (checks, ACH, credit cards)
· Prepare and send invoices and statements to customers
· Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
· Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts
· Maintain accurate customer records
· Assist with month-end closing procedures
· Communicate professionally with clients regarding account status
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree in accounting preferred)
· 3-5 years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience
· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
