Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload items using proper manual handling techniques, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices
- Operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and
driver standards - Assist with route driving, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Pack items securely for transport, protecting goods from damage during transit
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients during pickups and deliveries
- Follow all safety guidelines related to weight handling in the workplace and moving procedures to prevent injuries
Experience
- Previous moving industry, packing or warehouse experience preferred
- Delivery driver experience involving route driving and load & unload tasks is highly desirable
- Familiarity with commercial driving, including operating box trucks or
drivers’ vehicles - Experience with heavy lifting, manual handling, forklift operation, or pallet jacks is a plus
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices for commercial vehicles
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally in fast-paced environments

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
