Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This role requires a proactive individual who can create a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere while ensuring the well-being of the children under their care.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while adhering to dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness in play areas and assist with light housekeeping tasks related to the children's activities.
- Provide first aid when necessary and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Support children with disabilities by implementing tailored care strategies that foster inclusion and growth.
- Organize educational games, reading sessions, and creative projects to stimulate cognitive development.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
- Assist with daily routines such as diaper changes, bath time, and bedtime preparation.
- Encourage positive behavior through guidance and reinforcement.
Experience
- Previous experience in childcare roles such as babysitting, nannying, daycare, or teaching is preferred.
- Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, and preschool experience is highly valued.
- Skills in meal preparation and cooking for children are essential.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Certification in first aid or CPR is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is encouraged.
