Procurement Processing Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Procurement Processing Manager to lead and optimize our procurement operations. In this vital role, you will oversee procurement processing activities, ensure seamless supply chain management, and develop strategic sourcing solutions that drive efficiency and cost savings. Your expertise will help streamline procurement workflows, manage supplier relationships, and uphold compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Duties

• Lead end-to-end procurement processing activities.
• Manage supplier relationships through effective supplier management practices, including performance evaluation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee procurement categories such as materials management, logistics, quality management, and supply chain management to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Conduct category management activities by analyzing market trends, sourcing options, and cost drivers to optimize procurement strategies.
• Implement procurement best practices by establishing standardized processes for purchasing, sourcing, contract negotiation, and supply chain coordination.
• Perform root cause analysis on procurement issues to identify process inefficiencies or supplier-related problems; develop corrective action plans accordingly.
• Perform Industry standard ISO 9001 documentation such as CARs, Procedures, and Documents.
• Perform general bookkeeping for Jobs in house as well as Time Keeping and Shipping/Receiving.

Experience

• Proven experience in procurement management within manufacturing or industrial environments with a strong understanding of supply chain operations.
• Extensive knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS for procurement processing, materials management, and production planning functions.
• Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, sourcing strategies, supplier management, and category management practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis on procurement issues and implement effective solutions.
• Experience managing complex logistics operations including transportation planning and freight cost optimization.
• Knowledge of quality management principles related to materials inspection, vendor qualification, and continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing settings.
