Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a TIG Welder based in New Orleans, LA. The TIG Welder will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling high-quality metal components, specifically aluminum and stainless steel, adhering to project specifications and safety standards. Additional tasks may include interpreting blueprints, conducting inspections of weldments to ensure quality, maintaining welding equipment, and collaborating closely with other team members to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in TIG welding, with a focus on light gauge aluminum and stainless steel
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience with metal fabrication and assembly processes
- Strong attention to detail and an understanding of quality control standards
- Knowledge of workplace safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Physical capability to perform welding work and lift metal materials as needed
- Certifications in welding or vocational training in metalwork are preferred but not required
