What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Mill Machinist position at Quality Machine Services?
Our company is looking for experienced CNC Mill Programmers/Operators who can run Mazatrol or G-code CNC mills and help to enhance the productivity of our organization.. This position will provide the successful candidate with the chance to apply their knowledge, learn new skills and work as a team within a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate for this role has 5 years' experience in the manufacturing sector, pays strong attention to detail and is committed to workplace safety.
Machinist responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and clean work space
- Carry out production, inspection, packaging and machine operation duties
- Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
- Follow established safety rules and regulations
- Translate the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production
- Set up machinery and ensure all materials are readily available
- Effectively monitor production equipment
Machinist skills
- Strong knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to accurately read blueprints
- 3 years' experience with Mazatrol, Other CAM software's are a Plus.
- Committed to quality, safety and communication
- Team-oriented and self-directed
- Able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds and stand for a 12-hour work shift
- High school diploma or GED
