This is a hybrid position that works near the Allegheny Valley and McCandless areas
Quality Life Services offers a rewarding career as a Central Admissions Account Executive. In this role, you will serve as our representative to local hospital systems to share what QLS has to offer patients and to generate and process referrals. This is a full-time hybrid position that requires at-home virtual work with hospital visits as needed in the Allegheny Valley and McCandless areas. A rotating on-call schedule including weekends is shared between the Central Admissions team. The ideal candidate has a working knowledge and experience in Skilled Nursing and long-term care and a background in Marketing or Customer Service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Hospital Liaison is responsible for creating and building relationships with local hospital systems to generate referrals
- Serve as the primary point of contact between our local QLS facilities and hospitals
- Involvement and collaboration on referrals to ensure a smooth admissions process
- Conduct initial assessments on patient referrals for care and insurance purposes
- Educate local hospital staff and healthcare providers on our services, amenities, and the exceptional care we provide residents
- Act as the liaison between families and QLS facilities
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong admissions background, specifically in skilled nursing
- Working knowledge of Point Click Care (PCC)
- Familiarity with Careport and processing of healthcare referrals
- Solid understanding of SNF clinical capabilities and insurance reimbursement
- Sales and/or customer service background
- This positions requires some travel
- Some evening and weekend coverage is necessary
