Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, fostering independence and personal growth.
- Implement individualized support plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Facilitate community engagement and social activities to promote inclusion.
- Administer medication and monitor health conditions as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and incidents.
- Collaborate with team members and families to ensure consistent care and communication.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Experience in the healthcare or social services field is a plus, but not required. We will train.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Background check clearance as per state regulations.
