Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Monitor residents’ health by taking vital signs, observing for changes, and reporting concerns promptly to medical staff or supervisors
- Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual preferences
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and sanitation practices in accordance with health standards
- Support residents during community outings or activities to promote social engagement and community integration
- Document care provided, update care plans regularly, and communicate effectively with team members about residents’ progress
Requirements
- Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
- Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training are required; additional certifications like Alzheimer's or dementia care are a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks involved in patient handling and mobility assistance
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with people with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, dementia, or other special needs
- Proven ability to follow detailed care plans while maintaining confidentiality and respecting residents’ dignity
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or overnight hours as needed

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
