What are the responsibilities and job description for the Small Engine Mechanic position at Quality Lawn LLC?
We are a local family owned lawn and landscape management company looking for a small engine mechanic. You must be self motivated and have experience working on lawn equipment and other small engines . We are looking for a respectful, hard working, and TRUSTWORTHY team member. The job would consist of the maintenance of all the equipment that we use. Everything from mowers, trimmers, blowers, trucks, skid steer, backhoe, dump truck, multiple trailers, hydro seeder, more than a dozen snow plows, and anything else that needs done around the shop or on a job site. This position will include everything from turning wrenches, changing blades, washing equipment, possibly even helping our crews if needed. You may be asked to chase materials for a job or go pick up parts for the maintenance you're going to do on equipment later that day. Pretty much, whatever and wherever you might be needed. This is why you need to hold a valid drivers license.
Applicant Requirements:
*Must be able to pass a background check.
*Must be able to pass a drug screen.
*Must be punctual to work consistently.
*Will need to have open availability.
*Must have dependable transportation to and from work with a current and valid drivers license.
*General maintenance knowledge with the ability to weld is preferred.
