Quality Janitorial Group is seeking a People & Operations Coordinator to support our HR Business Manager with hiring, onboarding, employee support, training coordination, and daily workforce operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, people-focused, and able to help keep workforce operations running smoothly in a fast-paced commercial janitorial environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport recruiting activities, including job postings, applicant screening, interview scheduling, and hiring follow-up
Coordinate onboarding, new hire paperwork, orientation scheduling, uniforms, badges, and employee setup
Maintain employee files and ensure documentation is complete and organized
Assist with training assignments, compliance tracking, and follow-up
Work closely with the HR Business Manager on staffing needs, site changes, employee movement, and daily workforce operations
Help communicate assignments, updates, call-offs, and staffing changes to employees and supervisors
Assist with attendance follow-up, documentation, and employee support
Support workers’ compensation reporting, incident follow-up, and return-to-work coordination
Provide administrative and operational support across multiple client sites as needed
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all employee matters
QualificationsExperience in HR, recruiting, staffing, office administration, or operations coordination preferred
Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a service-based business
Comfortable working with employees, supervisors, and management
Microsoft Office and general computer skills required
Experience in janitorial, service, healthcare support, or multi-site operations is a plus
