Administrative Assistant
Job Description:
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the organization. This role will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Director and other members of the team. This includes scheduling, data entry, answering phones, responding to emails, and general administrative duties. The Administrative Assistant will also be responsible for assisting in the organization’s annual budget process.
Responsibilities:
·Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and other team members as needed
·Assist in the organization’s annual budget process
·Assist in managing the organization’s calendar and calendar management for all events, including but not limited to conferences, weddings, and weddings events
·Assist in managing the organization’s social media presence and provide promotional materials as needed
·Assist in managing the organization’s website and provide promotional materials as needed
·Assist in managing the organization’s social media presence and provide promotional materials as needed
·Assist in managing the organization’s email database and provide promotional materials as needed
·Assist in managing the organization’s marketing materials and provide promotional materials as needed
·Assist in managing the organization’s event space calendar and assist with event planning for upcoming events
·Manage rental of office space including property maintenance, parking, etc.
·Organize office operations such as mailboxes, file storage, printer maintenance, etc.
·Other duties as assigned by supervisor or executive director.
Required Skills:
·Excellent written and oral communication skills – both verbal and written. Ability to effectively interact with others at all levels of the organization. Must be able to articulate ideas clearly. Ability to effectively communicate ideas to a wide variety of audiences. Must have a strong desire to help others achieve their goals. Must have a strong desire to help others achieve their goals. Willingness to work with a team or work independently on tasks assigned. Willingness to learn new skills or adapt existing skills where necessary. Must be able to work with minimal supervision or without supervision when necessary. Able to prioritize tasks and handle multiple requests simultaneously with little supervision or guidance required when necessary. Able to maintain accurate records using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word) or other office applications (Outlook, Google Drive). Knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator) helpful but not required. Knowledge of Google Drive (Drive & Docs) a plus but not required. Knowledge of Salesforce a plus but not required but willing to train if so desired.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
