Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Position Overview:
Quality Innovation is responding to a proposal request, contingent upon contract award, for The New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton, a state-operated long-term care facility dedicated to serving honorably discharged veterans. It provides a safe, supportive environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, resident-centered care with dignity and respect. The home offers comprehensive medical, nursing, and rehabilitative services, along with therapeutic recreation programs, to all residents, including a life-enhanced dementia unit
Duties and Responsibilities:
RN Requirements:
• Conduct physical assessments, including psychiatric or admission assessments.
• Administer medications.
• Process physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs.
• Test blood glucose levels.
• Complete treatments.
• Conduct pain assessments.
• Change dressings.
• Complete management of the milieu.
• Use the NHVH electronic health record (EHR) to obtain clinical information and document resident care in a timely manner.
• Communicate verbally and in writing to report related findings.
• Use principles of infection control and universal precautions to support resident treatment, recovery, and/or infection prevention.

Qualifications:
- A valid license
- RN License: Certification Description (NH OPLC) or a valid compact license approved by the State of New Hampshire
- Pass a background check: A criminal background check to include either a National Criminal Records Check or the completed State of NH Release of Criminal Record Authorization Form
