Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up breakfast areas, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly presented in accordance with food safety standards.
- Serve breakfast to guests with a friendly, professional demeanor, accommodating special dietary needs as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchens, and guest rooms by sweeping, mopping, dusting, laundering linens, and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
- Restock supplies such as utensils, condiments, beverages, and linens to ensure smooth service throughout the shift.
- Assist with food preparation tasks including slicing, plating, and assembling breakfast items while adhering to food handling regulations.
- Support catering or banquet events by setting up tables, serving guests, and clearing after events.
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety to ensure a secure environment for staff and guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is highly preferred; experience in fine dining or banquet settings is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, serving procedures, and food safety regulations.
- Experience with catering or banquet operations is desirable; familiarity with dietary accommodations is beneficial.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, or holidays as needed; physical stamina for standing long hours and performing cleaning duties.
- Food industry experience including barista or restaurant roles will be considered an asset; knowledge of food handling practices is essential. - General Housekeeping Duties
- Cleaning: Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors in all rooms.
- Sanitizing: Thoroughly cleaning bathrooms (toilets, showers, sinks) and kitchens (appliances, counters).
- Linens & Laundry: Changing bed linens and remaking beds with clean linens
- Restocking: Replacing items like soap, toilet paper, and shampoo.
- Maintenance: Emptying trash
- Tidying: Making beds, cleaning mirrors, and organizing rooms.
Pay: From $10.00 per hour
