Job description
Quality Inn at West Des Moines has opening for Front Desk Agent. Duties include, but are not limited to Check in/Check out guests, collecting payments, making reservations over the phone, providing best Customer Service, understand brand standards, coordinate with other staff members for smooth operations, attend to guest complaints, feedback and suggestions. Follow Security and Safety procedures.
Should have basic working Knowledge of computer. Good Phone Skills, communicate with Guest and other staff members in polite and friendly manner. Should have reliable transport.
Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
- Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
- Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring accuracy of information
- Answer phone calls and provide information to guests or transfer calls to appropriate departments
- Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and complaints, resolving issues promptly and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform night audit duties as required
