Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent/Night Audit to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information.
- Handle reservations and cancellations through phone systems or in-person requests.
- Provide information regarding hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance guest experience.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain organized front desk operations, including managing cash transactions and maintaining records.
- Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate at the end of each day.
- Foster positive guest relations by being attentive to their needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Clean and stock breakfast area before breakfast hours.
- Additional lobby cleaning duties are necessary.
Requirements
- Reliable Transportation.
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong computer skills including use of Microsoft Outlook.
- Strong phone etiquette skills and proficiency in handling phone systems effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations;
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Familiarity with hospitality management software is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
