Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems, HVAC units, plumbing, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Conduct welding tasks and mechanical repairs involving various machinery and structural components.
- Maintain facilities by performing residential painting, plumbing system repairs, and general upkeep tasks.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
- Supervise maintenance projects when required, providing guidance to junior team members and ensuring safety compliance.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments or tenants, delivering excellent customer service throughout the process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a strong mechanical background.
- Knowledge of electrical systems including electrical equipment repair, schematics interpretation, and electrical safety standards.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair and plumbing system maintenance.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation.
- Skilled in welding techniques and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Strong communication skills in English for effective teamwork and customer interactions.
- Supervising experience is preferred to lead maintenance activities efficiently.
- Additional nice-to-have skills include experience with CMMS software, residential painting, manufacturing processes, leadership qualities, electrical experience beyond basic repairs, maintenance of MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) supplies, and familiarity with facility safety protocols.
