Duties
- Prepare and serve breakfast items with precision, including food presentation and portion control
- Set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all items are stocked, fresh, and visually appealing
- Maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment in accordance with food safety standards
- Assist with food handling, cooking, and meal preparation tasks as needed to support smooth service flow
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Buss tables, clear dishes, and assist with guest requests promptly to enhance guest satisfaction
- Support catering or banquet functions by setting up breakfast displays and assisting with event logistics
Skills
- Previous kitchen experience or food preparation background preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette to interact professionally with guests and team members
- Ability to perform basic culinary tasks such as knife skills, meat cutting, and coffee brewing (Barista experience is advantageous)
- Customer service-oriented mindset with guest relations expertise in hospitality or restaurant settings
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, bussing, and general restaurant operations including dietary considerations
