As a Hotel Front Desk Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Your energetic and professional approach will help create a welcoming environment, handle guest inquiries, and manage reservations efficiently. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms
- Manage reservations through hospitality reservation systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance guest experience
- Handle guest requests, complaints, or issues promptly with customer service problem-solving skills
- Operate multi-line phone systems with professionalism, maintaining excellent phone etiquette while answering inquiries or making reservations
- Follow hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety at all times
- Maintain accurate records of guest stays, billing, and other relevant documentation during night audits or shift changes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations preferred
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and problem resolution
- Excellent communication skills, including phone communication
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols
- Previous hotel experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
