Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively while performing a variety of cleaning tasks.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas in accordance with established standards.
- Manage laundry services, including washing, folding, and organizing linens.
- Ensure proper care of cleaning equipment and supplies; report any maintenance issues as needed.
- Assist with floor care techniques such as stripping, waxing, and buffing as required.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide exceptional hospitality service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices within hospitality or hotel settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques will be beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames.
