Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure a spotless environment.
- Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain a polished appearance.
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, linens, and other supplies to meet guest needs efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections of rooms and public spaces to identify maintenance issues or cleanliness concerns.
- Follow established safety procedures during cleaning activities and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
- Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Support hotel management with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services; hotel experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, polishing, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and customer service principles.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
