Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Quality Inn Seaside. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
- This position would fall around two shifts 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am.
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with the check-in process, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently while maintaining accurate records.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records during night audits.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
- Operate multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls effectively while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist in managing guest relations to foster a welcoming environment for all guests.
- Uphold company policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Laundry responsibilities include washing, drying, and folding laundry that has not been completed during the AM shift in accordance with hotel standards to ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Breakfast responsibilities include making, preparing, and stocking all items on the breakfast menu.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality services is preferred.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
- Previous experience in front desk operations or guest services within a hotel or resort setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations.
- Proficient in using multi-line phone systems and other office equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
