Night Auditor - Parttime

Job Purpose:

To act as the sole Guest Service representative and manager on duty during over night hours. To ensure all revenue is posted to the correct department and to balance all revenue department on a daily basis, and complete all necessary reports.

Job Responsibilities:

• Display good customer relation skills and take initiative to greet guests in a friendly manner.
• Accommodate hotel guests by registering and assigning rooms to guests, issuing room keys or card.
• Perform bookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts and conducting nightly audits.
• Post charges, such as those for rooms, food, liquor, or telephone calls, to ledgers, manually or by using computers.
• Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests.
• Record guest comments or complaints, referring customers to managers as necessary.
• Prepare the Front Office for the upcoming shift and reset day’s business.
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure appearance is clean and professional.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, guest registration, and travel directions, or make recommendations regarding shopping, dining, or entertainment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Skills:

• Knowledge of computer software Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Active Learning — Understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
• Monitoring — Monitoring/Assessing performance individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
