· Preventative Maintenance: Conducting routine inspections of HVAC systems, plumbing, lighting, and electrical components to avoid failures.
· Guest Room Repairs: Fixing plumbing issues (toilets, drains), electrical items, painting, and repairing furniture.
· Property Upkeep: Maintaining public areas, exterior landscaping, parking lots, and recreational facilities like pools.
· Work Order Management: Responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests and other departments (Housekeeping, Front Desk).
· Safety Compliance: Ensuring all areas meet building codes and safety regulations, including testing fire alarms and emergency
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Technical Knowledge: Basic skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
· Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts, climb ladders, and lift up to 50–100 lbs.
· Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose issues and make quick, effective repairs.
· Communication: Good communication skills to interact with guests and staff, often including ability to read maintenance manuals.
