Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Agent/Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences, managing front desk operations, Breakfast Operations, and ensuring guest satisfaction at our resort. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently using multi-line phone systems
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests over the phone or in person
- Assist in managing guest relations to foster positive reviews and repeat business
- Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and standards, including food presentation and portion control
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment
- Restock supplies such as utensils, condiments, beverages, and food items to ensure smooth service
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
Requirements
- Need a California Food handlers' card.
- Previous experience in hotel management, front desk operations, or guest services preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of hospitality management systems and multi-line phone systems
- Ability to handle night audit procedures and work flexible hours including nights if required
- Hospitality management or hotel experience is highly desirable
- Demonstrated professionalism in handling guest relations and resolving issues effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
