Housekeeping Associate (Hotel)Position Summary

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests. This role ensures guest rooms, public areas, and facilities meet the hotel’s cleanliness and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Room Cleaning

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and balconies
• Make beds, change linens, and replace towels
• Replenish guest amenities (soap, shampoo, coffee, etc.)
• Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and wipe surfaces
• Report any maintenance issues or damages

Public Area Maintenance

• Clean lobbies, hallways, stairways, and common areas
• Maintain cleanliness of elevators, restrooms, and entrances
• Ensure trash is removed regularly

Laundry Duties (if applicable)

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and towels
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry area
• Monitor inventory of linens and supplies

Guest Service

• Respond politely to guest requests and inquiries
• Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude
• Respect guest privacy and confidentiality

Safety & Compliance

• Follow health and safety standards
• Properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Adhere to hotel policies and procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (hotel preferred)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Good time management skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Lift up to 25–50 lbs (linens, supplies, etc.)
• Ability to push carts and use cleaning equipment

Work Schedule

• Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Full-time and part-time positions available

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
• Basic communication skills
• Reliability and punctuality

• Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
