Guest Service Agent

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Guest Service Agent to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences to our guests. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures using hospitality reservation systems.
• Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Process payments securely through credit card payment systems and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with room assignments, reservations, and modifications while managing availability efficiently.
• Support guest needs by coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, food service teams, and other departments as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of front desk area and ensure all guest-related spaces are tidy and welcoming.
• Use multilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse guests from around the world.
• Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of luggage or supplies when necessary.
• Follow safety protocols including first aid and CPR procedures to ensure guest safety at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hospitality, hotel front desk operations, or guest services is highly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with hospitality reservation systems and POS (Point of Sale) systems.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
• Knowledge of conflict management techniques to handle challenging situations diplomatically.
• Experience in food service or resort environments is a plus.
• Physical ability to perform manual handling duties including heavy lifting and cleaning tasks.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is advantageous for ensuring guest safety.
• Team leadership qualities to collaborate effectively within a dynamic team setting.
