Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to identify issues before they escalate.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of equipment and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Assist with residential painting projects to enhance property aesthetics and upkeep.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to accurately execute repairs.
- Supervise or assist with projects requiring leadership or team coordination, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and repair logs.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all maintenance operations.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields such as manufacturing or building operations.
- Strong electrical experience with the ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools like ohmmeters.
- Mechanical knowledge, including welding skills and familiarity with plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry work.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints effectively.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
- Competence in residential painting techniques for property beautification projects.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities.
- Basic understanding of electrical safety standards and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration.
- Supervising or leadership experience is advantageous for coordinating projects or mentoring team members.
