Job Summary

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of rooms including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
• Ensure all floors are properly cared for through carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and appropriate maintenance techniques
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
• Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests and addressing any concerns with professionalism
• Manage custodial supplies inventory and restock cleaning products as needed to ensure efficiency
• Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as scheduling and training new team members when required

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise
• Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards across various settings
• Ability to perform floor care tasks including carpet cleaning and floor polishing effectively
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Experience with laundry operations and handling delicate fabrics or linens
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures or hospitality industry standards is a plus
• Competence in using cleaning equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, buffers, and other tools
