Position Overview
We are seeking a Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth front desk operations. Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and register guests upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage reservations via phone, online platforms, and walk-ins
- Perform check-in and check-out procedures, including processing payments and verifying documentation
- Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to meet guest needs promptly
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and requests with professionalism
- Maintain accurate records and complete tasks as required
- Uphold hotel policies and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Prior customer service or hospitality experience preferred (front desk or related role a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Basic computer proficiency; experience with reservation systems is beneficial
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Dependability and flexibility to occasionally cover shifts as needed
