Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential or hotel rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, buffing, and applying appropriate treatments to preserve flooring quality
- Ensure all sanitation standards are met by properly disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and courteously
- Manage janitorial supplies inventory and notify management when stock levels are low to ensure continuous service
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as scheduling, training new staff, and maintaining cleanliness records in compliance with safety protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or custodial roles with a strong understanding of sanitation practices
- Skills in cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and general janitorial tasks
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending comfortably
- Knowledge of laundry procedures and equipment operation is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Previous experience with commercial cleaning or housekeeper management is a plus
- Familiarity with safety standards related to sanitation and cleaning chemicals
