General Laborer- Grain Cleaner

Grain elevator cleaner duties

The duties of a grain elevator cleaner include:

• Performing grain handling duties: This involves tasks such as bin cleaning, scooping and sweeping, bin measurements, transferring grain, fan and temperature monitoring.
• Managing inbound and outbound grain shipments: This includes working with trucks and rail to handle all grain shipments.
• Maintaining cleanliness and equipment condition: This includes housekeeping duties to ensure the general appearance of the facilities.
• Maintaining safety and compliance: This involves working in a safe manner and obeying all safety procedures.
• Performing housekeeping duties: This includes maintaining the general appearance of the facilities, including the elevator, buildings, vehicles, grounds, and other company property.
• Working in a professional manner: This involves working in a professional manner with other employees as assigned.
• Performing all other duties as assigned: This includes any additional tasks that may be required by the company.
• The role of a grain elevator cleaner is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of grain handling facilities and maintaining the quality and safety of the grain stored and transported.

Pay: $15.50 per hour
