Job Overview
At Quality Improvements LLC, we are seeking reliable, detail-oriented Assembly Technicians to join our growing team. This position involves assembling furniture, fitness equipment, office furniture, outdoor structures, and other consumer products at residential and commercial locations.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, customer-service focused, and comfortable working independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Must own or have regular access to a personal vehicle and provide proof of vehicle ownership and valid auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Must have a smartphone with internet access for scheduling and communication purposes.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and standing for extended periods.
- Prior experience in furniture assembly, installations, moving, construction, or handyman services is preferred but not required.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently.
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience assembling furniture, fitness equipment, office furniture, playground equipment, sheds, grills, or similar products is strongly preferred.
- Applicants should have a solid understanding of hand tools, power tools, and assembly instructions.
- Candidates must provide photos and/or videos showcasing previously completed assembly projects. Videos are preferred, as they better demonstrate workmanship and attention to detail.
- Experience in furniture assembly, moving services, handyman work, installations, construction, or related fields is considered a plus.
- All applicants may be required to complete a trial assembly assessment to demonstrate their skills and workmanship before being assigned customer projects.
- Technicians who successfully complete the assessment and maintain quality standards will be eligible to accept assignments through our internal job board.
- Due to the nature of our work, only technicians who demonstrate proficiency and reliability will be assigned customer projects.
