Shipping Associate

Join the team behind the industry's leading brands like XIKAR and Humidor Supreme. We are seeking a fast-paced, detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our growing logistics team. In this role, you will be directly responsible for the final stage of our supply chain, ensuring all outbound customer orders are accurately picked, securely packed, and shipped out on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and label outbound shipments according to order specifications
• Inspect outbound packages for damage or missing items prior to sealing
• Prepare shipping documentation, bills of lading, and manifest logs for carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, LTL)
• Coordinate shipments with carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL, freight providers, etc.)
• Load and unload shipments manually or using material handling equipment
• Ensure shipments comply with company policies, customer requirements, and DOT regulations
• Maintain accurate shipping records and update inventory or ERP systems as required
• Inspect packaging to ensure proper protection and cost efficiency
• Communicate shipping issues, delays, or discrepancies to supervisors
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping area
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred
• Familiarity with shipping systems, scanners, or ERP/WMS platforms a plus
• High accuracy is critical to prevent shipping errors and costly returns
• Comfortable using computer systems, handheld scanners, and thermal label printers
• Strong punctuality is essential to meet daily carrier pickup deadlines
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
