About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, calm, and customer-focused Emergency Roadside Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for motorists experiencing vehicle breakdowns or roadside emergencies. You will coordinate service providers, manage incoming calls, and ensure drivers receive prompt and professional assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer a high volume of inbound calls from customers needing roadside assistance.
- Gather essential information regarding the customer’s location, vehicle issue, and safety concerns.
- Dispatch towing operators, locksmiths, tire services, and other roadside providers quickly and accurately.
- Monitor active service calls and provide updates to customers as needed.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records in dispatching software.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, drivers, and team members.
- Prioritize calls based on urgency, safety, and company protocols.
- Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
- Follow all safety guidelines and service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous dispatch, call center, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies.
- Basic computer and data-entry skills.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, or rotating shifts (if applicable).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
