NC Turret Set Up & Operator - 1st & 2nd Shift Openings

Job Summary: 1st & 2nd Shift Openings

We are seeking a skilled and reliable candidate to Set Up and Operate Turret machines to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating turret machines to produce high-quality products. You will ensure proper machine operation, troubleshoot issues, and follow safety protocols while adhering to production schedules. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The machines we use are: Amada turret EM2510NT, Amada Combo LC2515 1AJe (turret and laser), VENTIS 3015 Aje With Tower AMS 3015 CL, AMADA LC 3015 F1NT (all Amada Machines). We are looking for somebody with experience with these types of machines. Candidates must be able to read blueprints and perform own set-ups , be able to use special tools (forming tools, emboss, countersink, Lences, knouts) using M-codes and G-codes, know how to use calipers and measure tape, additionally know different types of materials (crs stainless steel, aluminum).

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and configure turret machines according to production specifications, including tool alignments, changes and adjustments.
• Ensure and assist that machines are properly maintained and functioning at optimal performance levels.
• Load and unload materials onto turret machines as required.
• Monitor machine operations during production runs, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Conduct routine maintenance on turret machines to ensure they are in good working condition, including cleaning and lubricating parts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions or issues.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and report any hazards or safety concerns to management.
• Inspect finished products for quality and precision, ensuring they meet required specifications.
• Maintain accurate production records, including machine setup logs, production counts, and quality checks.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Report and prevent equipment and process malfunctions, material discrepancies, documentation errors, assuring production flows efficiently.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training preferred).
• NC Turret Press setup and operation
• Tooling installation and maintenance
• Able to perform First-piece inspection and quality checks
• Micrometer and caliper use
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of machine tools, tooling systems, and materials used in turret operations.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift, carry, push or pull materials up to [40] pounds.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate machinery and perform inspections.
• Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with exposure to mechanical equipment.
