Quality Control Inspector

Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with all relevant plan specifications and standards. This position involves conducting inspections, performing quality checks on measurements and welds, and maintaining documentation in accordance with the required customer plans and specifications. The Quality Control Inspector will work closely with the production team and is responsible for ensuring that fabricated metal products meet all quality standards throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Using various tools like calipers, micrometers, and electronic instruments to verify product dimensions, tolerances, and relevant customer specifications.

Collaborate with the production team to address quality issues and assist with corrective actions.

Verifying that products meet relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.

Document inspection results and prepare reports for management review.

Assist in training staff on welding procedures and best practices, to ensure high quality output.

Experience

Pay is Depending on Experience.

Proven experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Familiarity with various welding techniques, AWS regulations, CWI standards, and other relevant quality standards is required.

Proficiency in operating precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend corrective measures as needed effectively.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
